My first real attempt at a long exposure photograph shows that I really need a darker ND filter. But I love the effect of slowing down the shutter speed. The filter I bought was really so I could shoot wide-open at f/1.4 in daylight with my X-Pro 1 and 35mm lens, but if you stop down to f/16, you can achieve this look. I had to do quite a bit of work in Lightroom to darken things down a bit and you can see that some of the detail in the water has been lost, but for a first attempt, I’m quite pleased with it.
